Psychoeducational program
The psychoeducational program aims to enhance the skills of emotional recognition, expression and management, the development of cognitive and perceptual abilities, the improvement of social behavior and adaptation skills, as well as the strengthening of positive self-image and self-esteem of pre-school, school, and adolescent children.
Aimed at children with:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention deficit and/or hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Difficulties in managing negative emotions
- Difficulties in social skills
- Emotional difficulties
- Interpersonal difficulties
- Difficulties in concentrating attention
- Behavioral problems
The specialist, after assessing and investigating the psychosocial needs and difficulties of each child, designs and implements an individualized intervention program based on the child's individual needs.
The cooperation of the specialist with the parents is considered essential, as they communicate in a climate of trust, with the aim of supporting the parents so as to effectively manage the child's difficulties. With a view to the all-round support of the child, communication and mutual cooperation takes place between the therapist, the school and the child's family.
